Following the success of RIA’s M.A.D.E themed events, showcasing Materials, Automation, Data and Energy innovations in rail, we are happy to announce the next in the series of “M.A.D.E for” Unlocking Innovation events, starting with the M.A.D.E for Rolling Stock conference, which is being hosted by the University of Huddersfield on 10 December 2019. The University leads the Centre of Excellence in Rolling Stock within the UK Rail Research and Innovation Network (UKRRIN), of which RIA is a founder member.
The event will look at innovations in material use, automation of operations and maintenance, data use and energy efficiency for rolling stock. The conference will include presentations from key client organisations, innovative suppliers and our very popular Elevator Pitch presentations from SMEs.

More details about the agenda and the speakers will be published shortly. The morning coffee and registrations will start at 09:30 with the first session scheduled for 10:00. The event is estimated to finish around 16:30.
