International Human Factors Rail Conference 2025: Register now!

The 8th International Human Factors Rail Conference will be held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s, on 18 and 19 September 2025.

The aim of this conference is to bring together scientists, consultants, regulators, operators, infrastructure managers, manufacturers and suppliers to share rail human factors knowledge. The conference will focus on the discussion of topical issues such as:

• human factors in design,
• new technology,
• in-cab signalling,
• traffic management,
• non-technical skills,
• the platform-train interface, and
• safety culture

The last event in 2021 saw 198 delegates join us fro around the world, to come together to share state-of-the-art human factors research.

The conference ticket is £900 + VAT per person and includes: 

• Thursday, 18 September 2025 – Multi-stream conference programme, arrival pastries, lunch, afternoon cake and beverages throughout the day, as well as the conference dinner aboard the replica paddle steamer, Dixie Queen.
• Friday, 19 September 2025 – Multi-stream conference programme, arrival pastries, lunch, afternoon cake and beverages throughout the day.
